This September Mark Carney and the liberals are holding a massive gathering of the most powerful people in the world— investors representing $120 trillion are meeting in Toronto where the Liberals will attempt to get trickle down economics to work for the first time in western history.

This is being pitched as the “inaugural” Canada Investment Summit. The long term goal is exactly what Carney and the Liberals have been signalling since day one: They want to “catalyze enormous private investment” to build up Canada’s “infrastructure.” Right now, the government is mainly focused on data centres, often controlled by Canadian telecom companies which produce huge amounts of heat and noise pollution.

This seems to be Carney’s Canadian version of Davos. For those who don’t know about Switzerland’s political system, it’s a direct democratic hyper capitalist system with virtually no public infrastructure. Exceptionally high wages counterbalance a culture that worships private capital over everything else.

100 global investment organizations from 28 different countries will be converging on this summit.

From Black stone to Black Rock, Brookfield to JP Morgan (the world’s largest bank), the most powerful elites will be there.

Canada is the hottest product on the private market right now— and its leader is putting the country up for a fire sale.
